Physical Therapist Assistant Degree Program

Help people regain mobility and peace of mind

As our nation’s baby boomer population ages, the demand for certified physical therapy professionals continues to rise. ECPI University’s Physical Therapist Assistant program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). Through ECPI University’s year-round schedule, students can earn an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree in as few as 1.5 years.

ECPI University instructors have professional, real-world experience and believe in hands-on education. Students learn from both classroom and clinical laboratory settings and develop the skills necessary to provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Graduates can be prepared to assist patients of all ages with back and neck injuries, arthritis, burns, sprains and strains, amputations, neurological conditions, wounds, injuries related to work or sports, and more.
